Partnership with Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA).
As my Passion Project, I am working with AWLA throughout the year to help animals in need.
AWLA runs the Alexandria Animal Shelter located at 4101 Eisenhower Ave.
Beginning in Fall 2023, I am proud to partner year-round with the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA) to help with their mission to:

Inspire compassion for all living things;

Provide shelter to animals in need; &
-
Promote adoptions, animal welfare and responsible pet ownership in our community.
I am also proud to bring the the same level of passion and commitment to helping AWLA as I do helping my clients with all their real estate needs.
AWLA is a 501c3 charity organization (EIN: 54-0796610), so your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

AWLA raised $100K!
4000 people attended to raise awareness & help AWLA help animals in need
For 2024, the Santa Paws at the Shelter donation drive is supported by three great local businesses.
If you donate to help AWLA help animals in need, you will be entered in a drawing to receive one of the three Thank You gifts.

Donations will be collected through December 23rd, then delivered to the Shelter the week after Christmas. Details on how to donate are provided below.

Toys, treats, and dry or wet dog or cat food are welcomed by the Shelter.

The drawings for the Thank You gifts will occur on December 28th.
2024 Santa Paws at the Shelter
$250 gift card at Evolution Home in West End Alexandria. If you want to know how I make client houses look so nice priorto selling when furnishing from my "House of BCP" collection, many items come from EH. With 25+ dealers and 2000+ consignment items, the selection of house furnishing items is vast. The turnover is constant, so if you see something you like, do not delay a visit to EH. New items are added weekly, so EH is a place to visit often.
Some of my favorite vendors at EH who always have beautifully curated booths, with impeccable design style:
Potomac Collective (Lindy & Ted have a fabulous eye for fine antique and vintage furnishings).
Anna Weaver Designs (vintage pieces for the modern home).
Capital Vintage Charm (Stacey has a whimsical collection of vintage homeware and gifts).
Loveandvintage1961 (​a mix of antique, vintage, & MCM for cool living).
And the OG at EH...Maggie of Lowery's Dial.

2023 Santa Paws at the Shelter
$100 gift card at Lowery's Dial in Old Town Alexandria. Lots of items from LD in the "House of BCP" collection. Think of a store filled with ever-changing "vintage whimsy" items. LD also has a booth at Evolution Home. Think of an "English library" look and feel at LD's West End Alexandria location. See Maggie's great eye for home styling items at the Lowery's Dial IG account.

How to Make a Santa Paws Donation
1. Drop Off a Donation. A donation box will be located at Evolution Home (861 S. Pickett Street in West End Alexandria). Drop off a donation for AWLA, shop for home furnishings at Evolution Home, then treat yourself at Aslin Beer Company located next to EH. ​Once you donate, send me a photo of your donation in the box at EH and your name via email at Scott@BellaCasaPartners.com so I can enter you in the drawing.
​2. Online Donation. Donations ordered online can be delivered to 335 Helmuth Lane, Alexandria, VA 22304. Send me an email at Scott@BellaCasaPartners.com identifying your donation and name so I can enter you in the drawing.
3. AWLA's Amazon Wishlist. If ordering from AWLA's Amazon Wish List, send the order confirmation info and your name to Scott@BellaCasaPartners.com, so I can enter you in the drawing. AWLA's Amazon Wishlist is at this LINK.

For every client I help to buy a home or sell their house, I sponsor the adoption fee for one animal to find their Forever home, through AWLA's Adopt It Forward program.
It is an incredibly rewarding feeling not only to support AWLA in their Mission, but also to see how your support can help a Shelter animal find their Forever home.
